Good Insulation Overglaze Thick Film Paste
for 430 Type Stainless Steel Heating Elements
FG850X series is an environmental friendly high temperature overglaze paste designed as overlay or interbedded insulation. It is non-toxic element up to European RoHS environmental regulation (2002/95/EC), and has good compatibility with various ceramic substrates.
Also, if a protective insulation is required for the heating element, the same dielectric paste that has been used to insulate the steel also could be chosen.
The overglaze paste FG850X series could be screen printed on ceramics and stainless steel substrates for applications such as resistor networks, resistor plate, heating element, sensitivity element for protective insulation purposes.
It is dried at 125℃ and fired using a one hour 850℃ profile in a belt furnace with 15 minutes at peak temperature.

1. Excellent insulating resistance
The overglaze insulating paste FG850X series is with excellent insulating resistance. The high breakdown voltage could be up to 2000 VAC/min (fired thickness >80μm, 25℃).
2. Low thermal expansion coefficient, small distortion
The thermal expansion coefficient of the overglaze insulating paste FG850X series matches perfectly with the stainless steel plate.
3. Strong adhesion
The overglaze insulating paste FG850X series is with strong adhesion. Place the heating plate on a round tube of 40mm diameter, and bend it at 90 degrees with uniform force, no crack on the dielectric layer of the stainless steel plate.
4. Smooth and fine surface
The fired dielectric surface is with uniform color, and flatness and smooth.
5. Excellent thermal conductivity and heat resistance properties.
